LeadershipMembers About Us Since 1992, Rainbow Tribe, The Dance Company was formed to bridge cultural differences and foster a universal appreciation for dance in all its forms. Since its inception as a volunteer run and operated entity, this Boston-based inclusive contemporary jazz dance company has delivered fiercely intense, high-octane performances throughout the East Coast. Artistic director Mary Mazzulli and her Leadership Team are a collaborative powerhouse of dance talent producing entrancing choreography that not only entertains, but also motivates audiences of all ages and nationalities. The dance company is a true representation of Boston's rich diversity and ever-evolving culture. The Executive Leadership and members exemplify a broad diversity beyond race and ethnicity including a variety of body types, levels of training, experience and skills - thus overcoming common stereotypes of dance and dancers. Our performances range from African to modern jazz and from swing to hip-hop and break dancing. We strive to develop new, local choreography and choreographers and to reflect popular dance forms by presenting works in both artistic and informal arenas that draw from a variety of traditions.
